An accident on northbound I-25 north of Cimarron had debris in roadway blocking two lanes.
A police cruiser that was stopped to assist a previous accident on I-25 was hit by another car this morning. Luckily the officer wasn't hurt and the driver of the other vehicle had only minor injuries. Lanes are once again open.

TELLER COUNTY - One person was taken to the hospital after a three car accident west of Crystola. The two pick up trucks and a silver sedan slid off of the highway and down an embankment between the north bound and south bound lanes.
State troopers say there were at least fifteen accidents along Hwy 24 this morning between Woodland Park and Manitou Springs.

Highway 50 between Pueblo West and Penrose is closed due to an accident believed to be caused by high winds.
Another accident east of Pueblo, just west of Fowler, has Highway 50 closed in both directions. Wind may have been a factor in this accident as well.
Visibility is very low in the area due to blowing dust.

Colorado Springs, Colo. - News5 is on the scene of an accident on Academy, just south of Fountain.
A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. The wreck has shut down the northbound lanes of Academy for the time being as police crews investigate the accident.

COPPER MOUNTAIN, Colo. (AP) - Authorities say a 13-year-old Texas boy has died after hitting a tree while skiing at Copper Mountain in Colorado.
The Summit County coroner says Tristan Bartlett of Houston wasn't wearing a helmet when he struck the tree Friday. The resort says he was on a beginner trail at the time.
The boy was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:30 p.m.
