The Denver Police Department is looking for a couple that could be in Southern Colorado.

The duo allegedly stole a car in Denver back in February and have been using stolen checks at Front Range King Soopers stores.

The lockdown at Doherty High School has been lifted.

The school was put on precautionary lockdown just before noon due to police activity.

Colorado Springs Police were serving a warrant in the area and the lockdown was put in place because they knew that students would be walking to area restaurants during the lunch hour.

There was never any threat to the school.
