Hwy. 96 Closed west of Crowley

Hwy. 96 is currently closed 3 miles West of Crowley according to CDOT. An accident is blocking the lanes, and right now, there is no estimate about when the road will reopen.

Improvements to Fillmore intersection begin

Look for cones and lane advisories at Fillmore Street and I-25 as work is underway to move Chestnut street west from the intersection. CDOT and the city of Colorado Springs are working on plans and funding for a new, safer interchange. Until then, the Fillmore Corridor Improvement project hopes to improve safety and traffic flow. Over 21,000 cars a day use the intersection.

Crash holds up traffic

One person has been arrested for a DUI after a 5 car crash in the intersection of Powers and Airport Rd.
Colorado Springs police don't have any information about injuries at this time.
You can expect delays in the area.
