A Flash Flood Watch will be active from Wednesday morning through Thursday afternoon for the Waldo Canyon burn scar, El Paso county , Teller county and the Rampart Range. Moderate to heavy rain is possible and that could create flash flooding, especially over and around the burn area. If flooding develops be ready to head for higher ground at a moments notice.

Temperatures Friday morning cooled into the 20's, and for the Pueblo Airport temperatures cooled enough to reach record territory.

Friday's official low temperature was 23 degrees, which ties the record low that was set in 2011.

Friday morning's 20's were nowhere near the record low of 17 in Colorado Springs. That record was set in 1907 and will stand for at least another year.
