Warm Saturday, weak cold front Sunday

Your weekend will be dry and warm especially saturday. A weak cold front moves in sunday with high temperatures cooling 4 to 5 degrees. Just slightly cooler monday before temps get real warm again tuesday and wednesday. It will stay dry across eastern Colorado for at least the next 7 days.

Warmer air the next couple of days

Clear and cold again tonight. Friday will be close to perfect with bright blue skies and temperatures another 10 degrees warmer than today. No change saturday, then temps cool 5 to 6 degrees sunday with mostly sunny skies. Monday through friday of next week will be mostly sunny with warmer than normal high temperatures.

How long will the mild weather stick around?

Today was the warmest day we've had in over a week. Tonight will be mostly clear with lows in the teens and 20's most areas. Temperatures will be slightly cooler tomorrow under sunny skies. Dry and mild friday through sunday. A weak cold front moves in monday with cooler air but no moisture.

Tips to keep pipes from freezing

 Extreme temperatues can cause major damage in freeze-ups at home. To protect your pipes, experts say to open cabinet doors to leat heat underneath, crack your faucets just enough to allow for a trickle, as moving water won't freeze. The most common mistake is not disconnecting hoses from outdoor spickets.

Work week starts mild, ends cold

Today will be mild with a mix of clouds and sunshine. Temperatures stay very comfortable through Thursday with dry skies. A surge of colder air moves in Friday with a few snowflakes possible over the lower elevations. High temperatures only in the 20's and 30's next weekend.

How long will the mild weather last?

After 10 consecutive days of below normal temperatures today we finally warmed into the above normal range. Nights and early mornings will still be cold but late morning into the afternoon hours will be comfortable through thursday of next week. Plan on sunny skies over the weekend with sunday being the warmest day of the weekend.

Warmer weather on the way

Clear and cold again tonight across Colorado. Temperatures on friday will be about 10 degrees warmer than today under mostly sunny skies. No changes  saturday, then temperatures warm another 5 or 6 degrees on sunday. We're watching the potential for a storm to impact our area next week, at this time computer model guidance has many different solutions as to what the system will do. We'll watch it develop and keep you posted on possible changes next week.

A weak disturbance is moving across our area and it's triggering a few snowflakes. Just scattered flurries between now and 9pm with no accumulation. Skies becoming partly cloudy tonight with cold temperatures, lows in the single digits to below zero. Sunshine tomorrow with cooler than average high temps. Dry skies thursday through next monday with a warming trend.

Very cold start to 2013

A few snowflakes in some areas early then partly to mostly cloudy and cold with overnight low temperatures in the single digits to below zero. Sunshine tomorrow but quite cold, high temperatures won't even hit freezing. Plan on dry skies wednesday through next weekend with a gradual warming trend.
