    Homes damaged in the Black Forest fire rises

    The number of homes destroyed in the Black Forest Fire is now 509.

    The El Paso County Sheriff's Office released the new figures Tuesday night. They say 28 homes have partial damage and 3,653 appear unaffected.

    CANON CITY, Colo. (AP) - Inmates who were transferred from a prison in Canon City due to the wildfire near the Royal Gorge Bridge are heading back.

    The Colorado Department of Corrections says it started moving inmates back to the Colorado Territorial Correctional Facility on Tuesday.
