One person is dead and two others injured as a result of the crash of a small plane in Great Sand Dunes National Park Saturday morning. The National Transportation Safety Board confirms that a Piper PA-28 fixed-wing single-engine plane with three people on-board went down in a remote, wooded area of the park at 10:06 a.m. Saturday. The plane was registered to an owner in Monte Vista. The NTSB says its investigators are accessing the remote site at about 9,000 feet.
