3 Fort Carson soldiers killed in Afghanistan

Three Fort Carson soldiers were killed in Afghanistan on Feb. 13, according to the Dept. of Defense.

The fallen troops have been identified as Staff Sgt. John A. Reiners, 24, of Lakeland, Fla.; Sgt. Jeremiah T. Wittman, 26, of Darby, Mont.; and Spc. Bobby J. Pagan, 23, of Austin, Texas.

They were killed in an explosion in Zhari province. All served with the 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team.
