COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - A judge has ruled three Fort Carson soldiers will face trial in the slaying of an unarmed man outside a Colorado Springs motorcycle club.

The Gazette reports a judge ruled Friday there is enough evidence to proceed to trial on first-degree murder charges against Sgt. Christopher Mountjoy, Sgt. John Burrell and Pvt. Eric Bartholomew. They are being held without bond following the death of Virgil "Jason" Means, who was fatally shot March 3 near the Sin City Disciples motorcycle club.

Police detectives testified that Means had been beaten up by club members earlier in the night and was returning for his missing wallet when he was shot.

The soldiers are members of the club. Two other men are accused of being accessories to murder.
