One of the anchors of NBC's 'Comedy Done Right' Thursday lineup returns tonight, when "30 Rock" makes its season premiere.
For the cast, it's back to the playground.
"It's the most fun place to be," actress Jane Krakowski said, "It's so great to come back."
They're back with a third straight Emmy as tv's best comedy, with aspirations for another.
"These writers are not running out of ideas," actor Tracy Morgan said, "I think they conspire to make people laugh every night."
This season, "30 Rock"'s looking for new blood to boost its
show within a show.
"Jack (Alec Baldwin's character) instructs me that he wants me to go on a nationwide talent search for a new cast member," says series creator and star, Tina Fey.
"It's a very exciting but tense time," Fey explains, "The current cast members hover by the door to see if there's some competition coming."
In the premiere episode's other major story line, Kenneth the page stands up to Jack and then leads a walkout for better pay for pages.
