It's the last day for the State Games and the winners for the 5K have already been named.

We had a chance to catch up with one 10-year-old runner who was running her first 5K. Her recommendation to other who want to run, but haven't mustered up enough confidence to get out there and compete, "Have faith in yourself," says Kaylee McCleary.

The day isn't over yet...close to 20 more sporting events are left in the day. Some, like billiards, run until 10 p.m. A few competition still are open for registration.

Director of the State Games, Doug Martin, says that they anticipate to possibly exceed their anticipated mark of 7000 competitors.

Events are scattered throughout the entire day all throughout the Springs. Almost all are free to enjoy, so, if you're looking for something to do - indoors or outdoors - get out and take a look at the competition.

For a full schedule of events, as well as to sign up to compete in several sports including indoor volleyball, rock climbing and trap shooting, check out the organization's website: http://www.coloradospringssports.org/ or by calling (719) 634-7333, ext. 1000 for more information.
