A fire has already charred more than 60 square miles across the Colorado board in Kansas.

Our sister station KSN reports the grass fire is out of control and people are being evacuated in Stanton County.

At least eight fire departments including crews from Baca County, Colorado, are battling the flames.

At least two major routes in western Kansas are shut down. US-160 is shut down west of Johnson to Colorado and K-27 south of Johnson is also closed.

We'll bring you more information as we get it.
