Here's what I'm working on today. On June 3, 1921 the Arkansas River and Fountain Creek in Pueblo flooded, creating the worst natural disaster in the city's history. The flood water was more than 15 feet high in some spots. Hundreds of people were killed and it caused millions of dollars in damages to buildings in Downtown Pueblo.

Today I'm going to try to interview local historians about the flood and how it changed and shaped our city. We have amazing black and white video of the aftermath of the flood--that I plan to use in my story tonight. You got to see this!

More to come.
