A cold front keeps the wind up today. The wind will be blowing around 15-30 mph and gusting up to around 40 mph. That could kick up the dust again, potentially lowering visibility enough to once again close down stretches of Interstate 25. With the cold front moving through, temperatures will be noticeably colder today. Our highs will be in the 40's, but with the blustery wind expect wind chills in the 30's.
It's worth a mention that a little bit of snow could fall, too. Especially from 7 AM to noon, but it will be mainly limited to higher elevations in northern and far western El Paso County and also Teller County. That's not to say it will not fall IN Colorado Springs, but most areas of the city will not see snow and the much higher probability is up north of the city or west of the city. Accumulation of snow will be minor and mainly limited to a dusting. Northeastern El Paso County could see heavier bursts totaling up to around 0.10" to 0.25".
