A very gradual warm up this week.

NEW YEAR'S DAY: Partly sunny and cold. Temperatures are still 20 degrees below average with a high in the upper 20s in Colorado Springs, near 30 in Pueblo, and near 20 in Teller County.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy, dry and cold with lows in the single digits. Colorado Springs falling to near 4 degrees, Pueblo -3, and Teller County 2 degrees. Wind chill values between -5 and zero.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny and nearly ten degrees warmer with highs in the 30s in the Springs and Pueblo, 20s in Teller County. Overnight temperatures very similar to tonight's low temperatures.

THURSDAY: Sunny and warmer with highs near 40 in Colorado Springs, 45 in Pueblo, near 30 in Teller County. Mostly clear and not quite as cold overnight with lows near 15 in the Springs, near 10 degrees in Pueblo and Teller County.

FRIDAY: Sunny and even warmer with highs in the upper 40s in Colorado Springs, near 50 in Pueblo and near 40s in Teller County. Temperatures will fall into the mid teens in Colorado Springs and Teller, low teens in Pueblo.

SATURDAY: Sunny and a few degrees cooler due to a dry cold front. Temperatures will be in the mid to up 40s in the Springs and Pueblo, mid 30s in Teller. Mostly clear overnight with lows near 20 in the Springs and in the upper teens in Pueblo and Teller County.

SUNDAY: Sunny and mild with high temperatures in the low 50s in Colorado Springs and Pueblo, near 40 in Teller County. Mostly clear with lows in the upper teens to low 20s overnight.

MONDAY: Sunny and mild again with highs near 50 in the Springs, near 55 in Pueblo and near 40s in Teller County.
