Colorado State Patrol is still investigating a cause for an accident that occurred on eastbound Hwy 24 between Cascade and Manitou Springs around mid-day Sunday. The accident only blocked one east bound lane for about an hour as crews worked to move one injured person and clear the wreckage from the roadway. Earlier calls came in saying that a vehicle matching the description of the vehicle involved in the roll over accident was weaving all over the highway heading east.

Colorado State Patrol is investigating to see if drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident. One person was transported to a local hospital with unspecified injuries. Highway 24 is fully open in both east and westbound lanes.
