After severe flood damage last August, Manitou Springs eatery Adam's Mountain Cafe has a new home.
They celebrated what they call their "soft opening" Wednesday at a new location at 26 Manitou Ave, located outside of the flood zone.
Owner Farley McDonough calls it a great opportunity for the restaurant.
"People in Colorado Springs, Salida, Denver, Castle Rock, Pueblo and all over came together to support us and getting through last summer and that is why we are here right now," she says.
McDonough tells News 5 that they plan on opening a coffee and wine bar in the next few weeks once they get settled. They're also looking into catering and cooking classes as well as starting a cookbook.
