AFA to honor fallen graduates

The Air Force Academy will hold its annual Homecoming Memorial Ceremony Friday, Sept. 10, beginning at 4:45 p.m.
During the ceremony, 64 deceased Air Force Academy graduates will be honored. Each name, the year of graduation and the last cadet squadron to which the graduate was assigned, will be called out. The current cadet squadron commander will then respond, "Absent, Sir."
The entire Cadet Wing will be present for this annual remembrance. The ceremony will also include the playing of Taps and a 21-gun salute.
The ceremony is open to the public.
