AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) - The Air Force Academy has won the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition.
The contest was held Friday and Saturday in Denver.
The academy team advances to the National Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition in San Antonio next month.
In the Rocky Mountain regional competition, each team played the role of network and security administrators at a small company, defending its network from attack.
Other schools competing in the regional contest were Colorado State University, Fort Hays State University, Kansas State University, Regis University, University of Colorado and University of New Mexico.
