NIAGARA, NY - The Air Force Falcons gave up three goals in the third period to fall 4-3 to the Niagara Purple Eagles Saturday night.

Air Force scored first off of a put back rebound shot by Junior forward Ryan Timar in the first period.

Niagara tied the game in the second period before Cole Gunner scored off of a pass from Steven Carew.

The Purple Eagles scored twice early in the third period, but just 30 seconds later Scott Holm answered to even the game.

Air Force outshot Niagara 15-9 in the period, but a late goal by defenseman Matt Williams gave the Purple Eagles the win.

Air Force will host Army next Friday and Saturday at Klune Arena.
