Air Force football focusing on getting better

Air Force football has been practicing since August 8th, and they haven't been perfect. The players recognize that it's too early to be perfect, so they just try to improve upon mistakes

"Just one day at a time," says defensive tackle Nick Fitzgerald. "You come out, you make a mistake, you go in there, look at the film, come back out, fix it. And you're good to go the next day, so, that's what it's all about."

"That comes with practice." says running back Jon Lee. "Out here every day, you know, we're going over our plays, just trying to be consistent."

"Everybody is going to make mistakes." says defensive tackle Joseph Champaign. "Everybody is going to run the wrong call, they're going to miss a block, but the thing that you have to keep doing is coming back and keep getting better."

The Falcons open their season August 31st, at home, against Colgate.
