It's that time of year, allergy season; maybe you're dealing with watery eyes and a runny nose.
The tree pollen count is especially high right now and doctors say they are seeing more patients, "Patients are calling with sneezing, itching, nasal congestion and itchy eyes. They're miserable," says asthma and allergy specialist Dr. Ashok Patel.
Dry, windy days are when allergy sufferers really feel it because the wind disperses the pollens. There are simple things you can do to find relief: wear sunglasses to keep pollen out of your eyes, shower after being outside to wash pollen away and keep your windows closed when you sleep. And when over the counter medications don't work, talk to your doctor.
