Getting a jump start on your day tomorrow morning can pay off in the form of pancakes, coffee, and seeing the Pikes Peak Range Riders head off on their annual ride.
It's the 54th annual Western Street Breakfast centered at Tejon and Pikes Peak Ave. Four blocks will be blocked off for the event and thousands are expected to attend.
Volunteers from Fort Carson will be serving the $5 breakfast -- kids under five eat for free.
"The whole idea is to promote western heritage," says Brett Axton, Co-chairman of the breakfast. "Colorado Springs is founded on our western values and western lifestyle so it's keeping it alive --
making sure we don't forget where we came from."
All money raised goes to help various military charities in the area.
