Answers in fatal rollover crash may be hard to find

Following the fatal rollover crash on Wildhorse in Pueblo early Monday morning, State Patrol now suspect the 18-year-old driver was drunk.

Many people just want answers, about the teens, the handgun, and the stolen SUV, but State Patrol Trooper Nate Reid says many of those answers may be difficult to find.

They ran the license plate and know for sure the white 2003 Mitsubishi Outlander was reported stolen.

However, the handgun cleared, meaning it wasn't reported stolen.

Now a team will investigate to see if it's ever been used in a crime.

This will also help them find out if it's registered.

The driver, Cameron Montoya, 18, who they suspect was drunk at the time, died at the hospital.

Because of his death, Trooper Reid says it may be hard to find out answers, so right now they have no clue who the gun belongs to or who stole the SUV.

The three who are injured cannot speak about the crash just yet, but he hopes they may have some answers.

Grief counselors were on hand Tuesday at Central High School in Pueblo to help out students after the death of Chantel Ortiz, 16, who died on scene.

We will bring you more as it becomes available.
