Arizona files appeal

At least three people were arrested after protests regarding Arizona's new immigration law.

It went into effect today, but a judge blocked the most controversial parts from taking effect.

Demonstrators marched from the state capitol, held a prayer service, then headed to Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio's office.

Arizona has now officially filed an appeal asking the court to lift the order blocking parts of that new law.
