Aspen tickets an all time high

ASPEN, Colo. (AP) - It's a Rocky Mountain high -- when it comes to prices. The Aspen Skiing Company is charging its highest price ever for a single-day, walk-up lift ticket. The Aspen Times reports the company increased the ticket price to $124 last Friday. Company spokesman Jeff Hanle says the price is expected to drop to $119 after the holidays, then go back up during Presidents Day weekend and spring break. The highest price last season was $117. Resort officials say the good, early ski conditions are once-in-a-generation.
