Colorado Springs police are seeking help from the public in locating an at-risk elderly man who walked away from an assisted-care facility Saturday. Ronald "Tony" Cunningham, 71, walked away from a facility near Circle Drive and Monterey Road. He was last seen at a restaurant in the downtown area of Colorado Springs around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, but never returned home.
Police say Cunningham has ties to the the area of East Platte Avenue and Boulder Street and may be in that area.
Cunningham is white, 5'6", thin, with short grey hair, a mustache, and 'scruffy' facial hair. He was last seen wearing a brown button-down shirt, blue jeans, and a blue or green baseball cap, possibly with a Jacksonville Jaguars logo on it.
Police say Cunningham suffers from numerous medical conditions and is in need of care from his assisted-living facility. Anyone who thinks they see Ronald "Tony" Cunningham is asked to call Colorado Springs police at (719) 444-7000.
