Athlete of the Week stars in basketball, but will row in college

Our latest Loaf 'N Jug Aquafina Athlete of the Week stars for one of the top basketball teams in the state, but she's actually going to college to play another sport.

Samantha Rudd is a post player for the Mesa Ridge Grizzlies. Sami is six-foot-one, averages 11 points per game, and has helped lead her team to a perfect 14-0 record so far this season.
She will also be a college athlete, but it won't in basketball. Sami will join the rowing team at Kansas State, even though she's never rowed before.

The K-State coaches must like her attitude and athleticism.

Outside of sports, Sami is a member of the 4bit 4H Club and plans to major in hospitality management.
