DURANGO, Colorado (AP) - Authorities in Archuleta County are trying to identify skeletal remains that were found in a remote area by cattle ranchers.

Coroner Carl Macht said Tuesday he hopes dental records will solve the mystery, but a search of DNA records may be needed.

According to the Durango Herald, Macht said there are several people missing in the Four Corners area and he is waiting for laboratory results.
