Forget walking a straight line. Virginia drivers couldn't drive one, because well, there weren't any.
The picture above shows what the morning commute looked like on I-66 in northern Virginia today, heading toward Washington, DC.
A prank? Protest? Political statement?

The trippy strips and stripes are being blamed on faulty tape. It turns out the temporary tape striping peeled up.
A contractor was set to fix the mess after the morning rush.
