Colorado Springs, CO - Colorado Springs Police have arrested a suspect allegedly responsible for this morning's bank robbery, Luis Vera, 41, who also may be responsible for other bank robberies. Robbery Detectives found a car matching the description of the one use in today's holdup, and surveillance was established in the 1700 block of S. Nevada Ave. When Vera walked to the car and got inside, detectives recognized him from surveillance video at Wells Fargo. He was taken into custody and transported to the POC, then CJC. Vera will be charged in today's case, as well as the robbery of Wells Fargo in the 1800 block of S. Nevada Ave. on December 31 and the robbery of Legacy Bank in the 1500 block of E. Cheyenne Mtn. Blvd. on January 15.
