Bank Robbery Suspect Sought

Colorado Springs, CO - Colorado Springs Police Department are searching for a suspect after Wells Fargo Bank branch in the 5300 block of N. Academy Blvd was robbed this morning. Police officers and detectives believe a male suspect entered the lobby and demanded cash. The suspect was seen leaving the parking lot, headed south in a gray 4-door, possibly bearing Colorado plates. The Robbery Unit responded to the scene and conducted the initial investigation along with Falcon Division officers and Agents from the Local FBI Office. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Robbery detectives at 444-7539, 444-7869, or Crime Stoppers at 634-STOP.
