It's going to be a beautiful weekend here in Southern Colorado with plenty of sunshine around both today and Sunday. It'll be nice and comfortable out as well with highs near average in the 60s this afternoon then warmer highs in the 60s/70s Sunday.
A weather system will impact our state during part of the workweek bringing a chance of rain to the lower elevations and snow to the mountains. As of now, impacts across Southern Colorado from this storm will be minor with a few isolated rain/snow showers possible across the region Tuesday and Wednesday. This storm system will cool temperatures into the 50s for most spots starting Tuesday. There's still a possibility the forecast pertaining to this storm may change as new information becomes available over the coming days, so stay tuned!
