As the Germans would say: Prost!
Hundreds enjoyed a perfect fall day at Security Service Field Saturday, celebrating Oktoberfest.
The festival boasted beers and brats galore, only to be topped off with costume contests, German folk dancing and a 'Dachshund Dash', crowning the fastest 'weiner' in southern Colorado.
Party-goers said the celebration was a great way to share the German culture with the Colorado Springs community-- after all, there were plenty of steins to go around.
