Bennet surges ahead of Buck

Senator Michael Bennet surged ahead of challenger Ken Buck Wednesday morning with votes coming from Boulder. Bennet has scheduled a statement for noon. On Twitter, Bennet for CO said: "Thank you to everyone who made this victory possible, working tirelessly to ensure we leave more opportunity to the next generation."
The Buck for Colorado campaign released the following statement regarding vote returns Wednesday morning: "We are still looking where returns need to be reported, as well as provisional ballots before making any decisions. "We will have further comment later today."
With 89 percent of the votes counted, Bennet was leading Buck by about 15,000 votes.
