If you have not received your ballot for the Black Forest Fire Board Election you are not alone.
The Post Office has sent a large number of ballots back to the Black Forest Fire District marked "Return to Sender". These ballots appear to have been correctly addressed but it is unclear at this time why they were returned to the Fire District.
There is no time to re-mail the ballots in time for election day on May 6, so the Fire District is asking if you have not received your ballot, please go to the Fire Station One located at 11445 Teachout Road or contact Donna Arkowski, the Designated Election Official, at email@example.com.
The election room at the Fire Station, south entrance, will be staffed Monday from 9 am to 4 pm, and on Tuesday from 7 am to 7 pm.
