A Blizzard Warning remains in effect along I-25 through Tuesday evening.
At 9 AM, snow continues to develop along the I-25 corridor and will continue to fall across much of our area. Nearly everyone along I-25, in Fremont County, in Teller County, and in the Wet Mountains and Sagre de Cristo Mountains will see snow, occasionally in heavy bursts, accompanied by gusty winds up to 60 mph. The strong winds with temperatures in the teens and 20's will mean single-digit wind chills for much of Southern Colorado throughout much of today.
Most areas along I-25 will see 2-5" of snow, including Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Walsenburg, and Trinidad. Teller County, the Wet Mountains, and the Sagre de Cristo Mountains will see up to a foot of snow with locally higher totals of up to 18". Well east of I-25, most areas will see an inch or two at best.
