A powerful storm is going to bring a wide variety of weather to Colorado over the next several days. Thursday will be dry and mild. Strong gusty wind friday over eastern Colorado, gusts from 50 to 60 mph possible. Wind and snow will create blizzard conditions in the San Juan Mountains late thursday into friday. A pocket of very cold air settles in over the weekend with high temperatures only in the teens and 20's. A few snowflakes possible late friday night into saturday over the Pikes Peak region, the rest of southeast Colorado should stay dry.
