Blustery and warm, then weekend weather changes

A cold front is racing towards us from the west coast, leaving lots of rainfall and heavy mountain snow behind it. Today, the major effect of that storm will be to bring gusty, chinook winds to boost the temperatures and drop the humidities. More clouds will roll in tonight, keeping lows in the 40s for many of us, then clouds and wind will increase on Saturday, (as the front moves from west to east across the state). By later Saturday, showers and isolated thunder will be increasingly likely, as heavy snow blasts the mountains. Sunday will be the coolest day with the best chance for rain and snow for most of us. Monday, expect a few showers, but increasing sunshine and warmer, with a nice warming trend Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
