Remains found north of Vallecito Lake have been linked to Dylan Redwine.
The Plata County Sheriff's Office says a variety of items including bones were collected during a 5-day search around Middle Mountain Road this week. About 45 personnel from law enforcement and search and rescue worked over 1,600 hours during the search.
The searches began Saturday and ended Wednesday afternoon. Deputies say this was part of a series of follow-up searches conducted in the area since the snow melted.
Redwine went missing back on Nov. 19, 2012 after visiting his father for Thanksgiving.
