PUEBLO- Police say a man was shot and killed by an officer during a domestic violence call last night. The shooting happened around 10:30pm on the 1600 block of Jackson Street in Pueblo.
According to police, a 23-year-old man had two females in the house and shot at one of them. Upon entering, police commanded the male to drop the gun. When the suspect pointed the gun at an officer, the officer shot and killed the man.
The police officers involved were taken from the scene for interviews.
The two females escaped unharmed. No names have been released.
