Brewer ties career high in Nuggets 126-114 win over Lakers

DENVER - Corey Brewer had the hot hand Wednesday night sinking six out of seven 3-pointers matching a career high of 27 as the Nuggets beat the Lakers 126-114 at the Pepsi Center.

Kenneth Farried (21 points 15 rebounds) and Ty Lawson (17 points 14 assists) each posted double-doubles. Danilo Gallinari added 19 and Andre Iguodala scored 17.

Kobe Bryant scored 40 in the loss which snapped a 5 game win streak by the Lakers. Denver's 126 points was also the most the Lakers have allowed to any opponent this season.

The Nuggets have Thursday off before visiting the Dallas Mavericks Friday night.
