The Broncos have returned to the field. Well, the gym at lease, as organized team activities have just begun.
Only strength and conditioning is allowed for the first two weeks, part of a complicated, strict schedule. Number 18 knows that every section is valuable and helps team chemistry.
"As we get into phase two, we're allowed to go on the field with coaches," says Peyton Manning. "And then phase three, we'll actually have practices a little more similar to a regular season practice, I think that'll grow with time.
The next "phase" starts at the end of May.
The NFL releases the regular season schedule Wednesday.
