Broncos sign Butler, Orton to future contracts

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - The Denver Broncos on Tuesday signed cornerback Mario Butler and wide receiver Greg Orton to future contracts, it was announced.

Butler (6-foot-1, 187 pounds) spent the second half of the 2012 season on Denver's practice squad after playing in one game for Dallas earlier in the year. He was originally signed by the Cowboys as a college free agent in 2011 from Georgia Tech.

Orton (6-foot-3, 199 pounds) competed on the Broncos' practice squad during the 2012 season after spending time on the unit during the second half of the 2011 campaign.
