Buck, Hickenlooper lead top Colorado races

Republican Senate challenger Ken Buck holds an edge over Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet, while Democrat John Hickenlooper leads the gubernatorial race according to a Denver Post/9News poll.

The poll published Sunday showed Buck leading Bennet 48 percent to 43 percent.

In the governor's race, Hickenlooper led with 46 percent. Conservative third-party candidate Tom Tancredo had 34 percent, and Republican Dan Maes had 15 percent.

The Denver Post/9News poll of 647 likely voters was conducted by SurveyUSA Sept. 28-30.

The automated telephone poll had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.9 percent.
