Pueblo County Sheriff's Officers, with the help of Wildlife Officers and the State Patrol arrested two people yesterday for a burglary at a house southwest of Pueblo.

They received a 911 call at about 2:30 p.m. Thursday about a burglary in the 6600 block of Highway 78. Sheriff's Officers followed the suspect's vehicle back toward Pueblo. That vehicle rammed a sports car and crashed into a ditch.

A man and woman fled the crashed vehicle, according to the Sheriff's Office report, on foot. Eventually arrested was 40 year old Celeste Currington and Lawrence Sanchez, 45. Sanchez was finally arrested in the 5500 block of Bellagia.

Sanchez was charged with burglary, while Currington was charged with complicity. Investigators believe they may also be implicated in other break-ins that have happened recently in Pueblo.
