COLORADO SPRINGS - Colorado Springs Police have linked a burglary ring to at least 20 crimes. Police say members of the group called the "Northside Mafia," were caught after an investigation that spanned several months.
The investigation into the ring started back in December with the arrest of one suspect, since then, CSPD says they have cleared twenty cases.
Nathaniel Flavio Gonzales, Gino Patrick Rael, Carlitos Juvera-Rael, Darlene Carol Gonzales, Leonard Lee Walters Jr., Kenisha Watson, Naomi Archuleta and one juvenile male are facing charges ranging from burglary, theft and providing false information to a pawn broker.
Officers say they recovered a "significant number" of stolen items, including four guns.
