Calhan plane crash victims identified

The two men killed in a small plane crash in eastern El Paso County Monday have been identified. William Boecking, 76, and Daniel Saunders, 60, died when their Cessna slammed straight into the ground.
The plane crashed in a field at 30103 Washington Road in Calhan.
The El Paso County Coroner's Office performed autopsies on both men Tuesday and ruled the cause of death to be accidental and the manner multiple blunt force trauma. This rules out a medical problem on the part of the pilot.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is investigating the cause of the crash.
