Many boaters and campers were calling today their last fling of the summer!
This Labor Day started off cloudy at Lake Pueblo, but around midday the sun finally came out and so did the boats and picnics!
Many people at the lake today say they love coming out every summer, especially during holidays, but Labor Day is bittersweet.
"End of the season, camping season, boating season," said Chris Akerlund, a Colorado Springs resident.
Akerlund says it's kind of sad.
"We love the lake," he said. "Love to be out on the water."
Many say their favorite part of Lake Pueblo is meeting campers from all over Colorado and other states.
