Canon City High School and National Geographic Kids magazine set out to set the Guinness World Records title for the most people doing jumping jacks in a 24-hour period, but not to worry, these teens were only jumping for one minute.

The goal of the record is to get "20,000 people worldwide to complete one minute of jacks between 3 pm on October 11th and 3 pm on October 12th," says Canon City Gym instructor Jamie Boring.

It's part of a Fist Lady Michelle Obama's 'Let's Move!' campaign, which encourages kids and families to get active.

Around 350 Canon City students voluntarily came to the gymnasium to help reach the 20,000 goal.
